Sorry it has been Forever!!!

Let's see... I guess we could look at it this way, since I haven't written in a while things have been going better.  I have been off of my medication for a few months now, which has been extremely nice, but alas, my headaches and a few other symptoms have come back starting this past Monday.  I have emailed the doctors and they have not gotten back to me, which is highly unusual because the doctors at OHSU are usually right on top of things.  

Let's catch up shall we??!!  Well, it is obviously Spring because just about everyone I know (ok like 5 people that I know) are getting married soon... They are just recently engaged.  So fun because I love weddings... My friend and I were talking today and we figured that it is some kind of a virus and we accidentally got the vaccine... :)  I am very excited about that.  This past weekend, my mom drove me up to Seattle, because I can't drive that far on my own because of my recent headaches and my mom is such a doll!  I drove from Gig Harbor to Seattle at night and found this to be a pretty awful decision... because of my head problems, I had a bit of a rough time trying to stay on the road in between my lines... Not exactly the best thing when you are driving!!!  I made it safely and had a blast with my friends for the weekend!  It was so amazing!!   They are a group of girls from Nashville, as well as my friend Natalie from here, who love Jesus, love each other and want to live that out in community which I am so about.  I am going to go out to Nashville for a few months at the end of the summer and I am so excited to see what God will bring out of that.  I am also helping Lisa Closner with the play Annie by choreographing!  It is very fun and stressful and scary as we are nearing opening in a little over two weeks....

Back to my head, I am trying to work as much as possible, but some days I just give up, today was great though.  I have a doctor appointment on the 21st so they will run more tests do some blood work and see if I will go back on meds or have to have surgery, which could be great if it goes as planned! :)  Thank you all for your prayers and support!  I love you tons... but for now I am off to bed... I am getting up at 6:45 am to go walking with my mom!! Muahhh!!! 

An update... or should I say a long coming update...

Hey everyone... So, I have actually been feeling amazing lately!! I have not had headaches or anything! Praise Jesus!! You are all so awesome for not giving up and praying faithfully! Thank you so so much! I went into the doctor for my 6 week appointment after starting my medication and they took blood, which I must say was amazing because potion doctor "Da" took it with no problem whatsoever!! I was very happy about this!! I got my results back only after waiting 2 days and when they thought they may have to double my dose, we actually got to cut my dose in half... They don't normally see a change until you have been on the meds for 6 MONTHS! Can anyone say Jesus? I heard you.... :) So I am not having any problems or side effects from the medication and I am so happy!! It is so great! I am back to working after taking a nice vacation with my cousin Katie which was the most fun and fake trip that I have ever been on. I left last Friday night... Well, technically two Fridays ago... :) It was great because our flight was nearly empty and so we had all the room in the world to stretch out and talk and have a good time.... We get in and Patrice rolls up in her Mercedes, which is like the Honda of Cali... that is how common these babies are, and she is playing clubbin music and it was so much fun! We rushed home and got all dolled up and went to this place called 3thiry3 and it was fun! We ate great food and watched some very interesting people... From there we went to Landmark to go dancing. It was very fun and from there we went home and danced some more with the three of us girls!!

Saturday morning we got up and went on a hike in the hills of Laguna! It was gorgeous!! Oh my goodness... It looked like another country! It was brilliant!! After we hiked we had lunch at this cute little restaurant on the waterfront. So fun! We went home and got put together and met some of Patrices' amazing friends! I am telling you, they are so loving and accepting and I feel like I have known them for a long time because we all went deep fast and I love that! Nicho came over and he got to hang out with us all and we were so glad he could make it!! We hung out around Patrices' house and after everyone went home, Lauren, Patrice, Katie, Nicho, and I all went to bed! :)

The next morning we went to Rock Harbor which is an amazing church that reminds me a lot of Solid Rock (the church associated with "The Way"). It was fun and we met Tyler and we went to the beach for a picnic. It was so beautiful... It was in the high 70s and low to mid 80s the whole time we were there!! God is so good! He blessed us so much!! We were walking around the tidepools and Tyler thought it was a good idea to peel off a sea creature which we all thought sounded good and when he did this old lady goes "put down the mussel, you are not allowed to touch the animals" and Tyler says the only thing that came to his mind... "Well, is it alive?" "Yes" "Oh, sorry" (he sets it down on its side) "Is that where you found it?" "Yes maam"... haha!! Tyler got told by a granny!! It was so funny!! That night we had dinner at a man's house named Casper, like the ghost, and he welcomed us in even though we weren't all expected to be there!! :) His family does this thing called your "High and Low" I am going to do this with my family one day... One person starts and says "hey______(insert name) what is your high/low for the day?" and that person must now give his high/low and then they pass it along to the next victim... I mean person... This really opens it up to see what is going on in everyone's lives... I loved it!! After dinner, Katie, Patrice, Tyler and I went to go see the movie with Kate Winslet and Leo Decaprio... Revolutionary Road or something and Katie and I did not like it one bit... It was brilliantly acted don't get me wrong, but so so so depressing and sex scenes that were not needed. After we went home and I fell asleep watching Big Fish.

Monday morning we woke up to my mom and dad and Robbie in the house.... Many faces soon followed!! I had a meeting with a man named Bret Saxon who owns Insomnia Media and Katie went with me. So we got to the office on the Universal Lot and we walked to meet Bret and Jeff. We had a great lunch with great conversation. After lunch Bret had Steve show us around the back lot and that meant we got to explore... We got to walk around the set of Jurassic Park 3, The Grinch, War of the Worlds, and much more... We were like kids in a candy shop... It was amazing! We got to see the set of the Phantom of the Opera, this was the real deal... the original! So much fun!! After we got to go on this crazy fun tour we were on our way to see Tyler and we got lost... We were on the wrong side of the freeway! What should have taken us 5 to 10 minutes took us about 45 minutes... we did see that red headed comedian that is a woman and very crude... and we totally saw Channing Tatum... that is right ladies... :) He looked darling!! :) We finally found his place which is incredible! It looks over Hollywood and is so cute! We met his roomies and just hung out for a while!! We then hung out with Abi and Justin and saw Bedtime Stories which was so cute and I want to kiss the kids in the movie! We had so much fun going around and taking fun pictures! I loved it all!

Tuesday, we got our toes and nails done and then we were off to the beach with Abi and Justin, but Abs got sick and it was no good, but we walked down the 1,000 step beach and it was tiring!! I am telling you!! :) That night we just walked around the mall and had a low key night with everyone...

Wednesday, Katie and I went to DISNEYLAND!!!! It was so much fun! Katie and I were like little kids in a candy shop. I even got told to calm down... yeah me at Disneyland and the little kids didn't even get in trouble... I loved that!! It was so much fun! That night we had Bible Study at Patrices' house and it was so amazing! Everyone just shared their hearts and ideas and talked about what God is doing in their lives... It was great. Katie and I opened up and shared our hearts and so that was really fun... It created an instant bond between everyone there! We talked with couple named Sherry and Jim (I believe) and they were such an encouragement... Love them tons!!

Thursday, we went down and had lunch with Nicho. It was great food and great company. On our way down I got a phone call letting me know I have the part in the movie that I was hoping I would get. It was so incredible... I still can't believe it... We are supposed to shoot in March in either Mississippi or Vancouver, BC. So so so so so so so much fun!! Again, I have always wanted to act and once I surrendered it to God and put my faith in Him he blessed me with this whole experience!! So, we were going to go down to the Santa Monica Pier and we got ended up going the wrong way and were confused so we needed a place to take a shower so we went to Tyler's place and he wasn't even there and took a shower in Shawn's shower which is beautiful... It was so nice of the guys to let us do that!!! After we got ready we went to USC with Lauren and went dancing around that area... So much fun! I love her to death! She is great!!

Friday, well... the only real thing I can remember from Friday is no good so here we go... We were going to go out dancing that night again and we were not sure where we were going or how I would get in, but it had worked out before... So this night people decide I should use this girl's license who is 33 and looks nothing like me... Yeah red flag... do not pass go... reach for help!! But no I put those aside and try it... They bouncer looks and says this does not look like you asks the girl and asks how old I am... Well, anyone who knows me knows I can't lie so I said 20, grabbed the ID, and walked out right back to the dumpsters... Talk about a walk of shame... So the moral is... kids don't use other people's id's it doesn't work.... and I just don't think God approves of it...

Saturday, we went out to Javier's and that was really fun... It is a place to be seen!! The decor was amazing and the food was great... They even had a woman working in the bathroom that gave you soap and a linen towel to dry your hand with... ummmm... yeah... fake!! So that was fun and the Patrice was sick and so Katie and I went out with Matt who is Mr. Potion... We went dancing to this place called Port... It was fun Katie and I danced the whole time!! So fun...

Sunday, we were going to go to church, but everything was full so we had our own church then went to TJ Maxx and a Belgian chocolate place and it was amazing!! So great... We took it easy and left that night... Such a fun trip...

Please everyone pray that Patrice gets better because she has to teach a class on Wednesday, and also, please pray that I am not getting sick... I have a cough and I can feel it in my chest as well as throat hurting a bit and sinuses.... Please pray.... Thanks for all your support the whole way... I love you all! Have a great day!!

Also, one thing I learned was that there are still guys out there who are willing to pursue a girl if they are interested. Some times it seems like there are no longer guys out there who will do that. So guys, I urge you to not over analyze things and if you like a girl go after her and try it out! :) The worse that can happen is she isn't someone you want to marry and you learn a few things!! :) Sounds good to me! The latest..

Sorry that I have not updated you all sooner... I have no excuse except snow... which is outside my house and doesn't work... so there you have it... nothing!! :)  I have been loving the snow and loving how I have been feeling!!  I am so thankful for all of your prayers.  God seems to be listening!! :)  I have been feeling really good for the past few days.  You could almost say that I feel like a normal person.  I have had about three days that I have not felt so good, but I have had about a week of feeling good!! Yay!!  So much fun!!  Right now my mom is stuck in California and I am hoping we can get her home safely and quickly!  I hope you all are staying warm and safe and that you all are enjoying the snow/ice... It can be a bother, but I love it!  It is so beautiful!  There is nothing better than a white Christmas and I am thinking we are getting one this year.  I hope you all have a great night and a great Christmas.  I love you all.  Have a great night!  

Alright Folks...

Hey everyone... I doubled my dose Monday night and I have been pretty sick to my stomach and my head has been hurting but I haven't thrown up so praise the Lord!!  I am just hoping I adapt quickly and get back to normal... My dad is home!!!  Love you all!! 

Updates...

Hello everyone...  I am sorry that I have not written in a while! :)  I have been feeling sick off and on lately.  I feel worse after I take my meds, but usually have a good day after....  This time I actually am feeling a lot better.  I took it last night and I have felt good all day today except for a little bit here and there... I did a light yoga with Lexi today which is great because I haven't worked out in over 16 weeks now!!!!!!  (and folks things just don't stay toned)  Thanks for all of your prayers and thought. I do not have a doctor appointment until January, but I will try to stay on top of updating this.  Have a great night and talk to you soon!  Love ya!! 

Review on the night before!

Last night I did not get sick and throw up!!!  Yay!!  I only got a small stomach ache and a head ache.  I didn't sleep much, but I am so happy that I did not get sick!  Praise Jesus!  Today was the best I have felt in a long time!  I am so glad!  I got to play with Gavin today and I did not feel bad until more into this evening!!  Let's pray that it stays like this!!  Love you all!!  Have a great night and really really thanks for the prayers!!! :) 

Tonight is the night!!!

So, I have still been in bad pain from my headaches, but tonight I start the Cabergoline right before I go to bed... Am I nervous...  Yes...  Is it going to be ok?  Yes, I mean come on I have my mom sleeping with me tonight!  You people thought I was big enough to do it on my own... get real! :)  I will be eating something small taking my pill brushing my teeth, putting my hair in a braid with a head band around my head (just to be prepared), putting a garbage can next to my bed (one that I hope to never use), and go to bed hoping to fall asleep in less than 10 minutes!!  That is the plan... tomorrow or maybe the day after, depending on how the meds work with me... I will be letting you all know if it was a successful night or if I played the song that goes "What goes up must come down" backwards!  Thanks again for all of your prayers and I love you all!!  Have a great night!!
